Kingu Charcoal Materials appeared at the 14th Shanghai International Long-Duration Energy Storage and Flow Battery Exhibition

Exhibition Overview

From June 11-13, 2025, the 14th Shanghai International Long-Duration Energy Storage and Flow Battery Exhibition, themed "Technological Innovation and Full-Chain Synergy," achieved a breakthrough scale with 52,000㎡ of exhibition area, 927 exhibitors, and 37,525 professional visitors. Among them, 2,633 international visitors from 72 countries set a new record. The exhibition, along with EPOWER (All-Electric Exhibition), IDCE (Data Center Exhibition), and GPOWER (Power Exhibition), formed a four-exhibition linkage, constructing a multi-dimensional ecological platform of "exhibition + forum + docking."

Liaoning King Valley Carbon Materials Co., Ltd. showcased its innovative 2.5mm and 4.2mm thick graphite felt electrodes and 0.6mm and 1mm thick graphite cloth electrodes at the exhibition. Through extensive discussions with industry representatives and researchers, the company gained a deeper understanding of product demand and market applications. In the future, King Valley Carbon Materials will further refine its products and services to create value for customers and the industry, providing globally leading high-quality and high-efficiency electrode materials!

Technological Highlights

Flow Battery Dominance: All vanadium/iron-chromium/zinc-based technologies were showcased, with exhibitors displaying high energy density electrolytes (-40℃ low-temperature formula), long-life stacks (81% efficiency), and other breakthroughs;

Cost Reduction Breakthrough: Vanadium utilization rate increased to 92%, and the cost per kilowatt-hour of zinc-bromine flow batteries is 30% lower than vanadium batteries;

Domestic Material Production: The price of ion exchange membranes is 40% lower than imported ones, and the low-temperature performance of the electrolyte is globally leading.

Industry Dynamics

Improved Standard System: The flow battery standardization committee has completed the formulation and revision of more than 50 national/industry standards;

Market-Oriented Power Generation: The spot market creates profit margins for energy storage of 4 hours or more;

Full-Chain Synergy: Forming a "materials-manufacturing-application-recycling" display matrix to promote commercialization.

Future Outlook

Focus on policy changes in the power spot market;

Optimization of low-temperature electrolyte performance;

Coupled applications with data centers and microgrids.
